Get ready to go on a dramatic concert adventure filled with love, passion, tragedy and deception as 4-octave singing sensation Maurita André perform the music from her newly written and composed Jazz opera, "DRINK WITH YOUR EYES."

Set within the surrealist noir world of Montmartre, Paris, this dynamic two-act concert production will take you on a journey to when Jazz, poetry, art and wine once intertwined; to when life seemed simpler, time moved slower, and love often lasted longer.  It will also introduce you to Maurita André's pioneering new flavour of Jazz called JAPRA--a refreshing blended bouquet of flavour where Latin & Contemporary meets Jazz and Classical Opera.

"DRINK WITH YOUR EYES," tells a riveting tale of a young woman named Orchid Angelique, who longed for much more than her mother and grandmother's typical life.  So after a heated argument with her conservative and disapproving father, she ran away from home and escaped to Paris, France, the world's art centre, with the hope that she would become a star.
